INSTALLATION: ENSKYMENT

Every second of the year. two people die.  Most will be buried or cremated. Both of these options are responsible for an enormous amount of pollution. Tibetan Buddhists in Tibet, China and Mongolia and Parsi Zoroastrians of India believe the body contains nothing more than simple flesh and allow it to be eaten by vultures. The sky burial has no impact on the earth, provides food to sustain living beings, and is considered an act of generosity.

Enskyment was conceived and exhibited at The Gray Area Foundation after a 3 month workshop, Intensive Computer Coding for Artists.
